Notes From the Bunker

Left the house for the first time since Monday for a supply run. First stop, Sunrise Coffee where usually I’d stop by 3-4 times a week. Their tables and chairs are gone, they’re selling takeout, they’re installing a new window with a pass-through to sell coffee to people outside, their door is propped open so you don’t have to touch the handle to get into the store.

Next stop, the Chimacum Farm Store for fresh produce. Had everything I was looking for but bananas. The bread shelves were bare, they relied heavily on a local bakery that closed. Restocked my fresh greens for smoothies, main objective of trip.

Fort Worden State Park for a walk and some quiet time at the beach … a few people around, but very conscious of distancing properly and being courteous.
